Well bird is the word

My purpose
Had a 90 year old woman brighten my purpose and reason just now. I rarely post a blog when I'm busking but this one is very worthwhile. She clapped and danced while we played. After we finished playing suspicious minds by Elvis she informed us that her deceased husband played guitar and she hasn't seen anybody play guitar since her husband passed away. I'm in tears right now over the inspiration. Here is a random pic from my phone of the most important men in my daughters life. Never forget FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.

I'm as lonely as Arkansas tonight
After busking 10 days straight and dealing with The up and down weather in Arkansas we are closing in on our last days here. We ARE leaving for our home in Vegas a week from today. Hit us up to kick it 501 peeps before we go. We will always be southern boys at heart but if it don't make dollars then it don't make cents (sense). Stay tuned for the amazing pics we have in store from our busking experience in Arkansas. Pics range from the Conway city mayor, police officers, friends, and of course the owner of Mikes place who has taken better care of us then our own blood relatives in this music game. Good night, good luck and remember to keep a little sun on your face

It's actually Highway 40 ride but yeah
I ride east every other Friday but if i had it my way
The day would not be wasted on this drive
And i want so bad to hold you
Son there's things I haven't told you
Your mom and me couldn't get along
So I'll drive
And I think about my life
And wonder why, That I slowly die inside
Everytime I turn that truck around, right at the Georgia line and i count the days and the miles back home to you on that Highway 20 ride
A day might come and you'll realize that if you could see through my eyes
There was no other way to work it out
And a part of you might hate me
But son please don't mistake me For a man that didnt care at all
And I'll drive
And I'll think about my life
And wonder why, That I slowly die inside
Everytime I turn that truck around, right at the Georgia line and i count the days and the miles back home to you on that Highway 20 ride
So when you drive
And the years go flying by
I hope you smile
If i ever cross your mind
It was a pleasure of my life
And i cherished every time
And my whole world
It begins and ends with you
On that Highway 20 ride....
Send "Highway 20 Ride
2 of 11 busk days down in Arkansas
Only 9 days left in Arkansas before going back to our home in Las Vegas. Arkansas has been good to us. Much love and respect to the natural state. Todays lunch busk was solid but the evening was horrible..... Last night I pretty much went loco on everybody. Police came, simmered me down and luckily didn't go to jail. Here is another random pic from my phone as promised. It's a pic of my newborn son Anthony Rhoades Lohnes.

Cold and Arkansas
The chill has set in. The low cold jet stream is imminent domain. Time to head west where the SoCal tribe talks noise
Baby I'm a singer of a rock n roll band
Played a few songs today on the stagnant streets of Conway,Arkansas. Woke up with a sore throat and called quits early busking. Leftover Keg in the fridge at our crib. 10 days of busking left in Arkansas then back to Las Vegas first week of February. This blog will definitely get more juicy when we arrive back to our home to Sin City

I have yet to begin to define myself
Packed house at my club, drinking a little bub, my newborn son is sick with his first cold. And still I would catch a grenade for YOU! Oh yeah!! And here is another random pic from my phone as promised.
Hello me its me again.........
Although I am thinking to myself these blogs are becoming calus and very candid. I will be more open and noteworthy from now on. Promise. Oh yeah and a random pic from my phone posted daily. No apologies No regrets. Again Im a broken record. Regrets are the risks we didn't take.
Rain Sleet Hail Snow is what's up
Very busy playing since my last update. Busking in the snow in 28 degree weather, playing a private show at Soundstage, and dealing with neighbors being to drunk to care and too cool to count. Almost time to hit the highway again.

Slacking on updates.
From time to time I fall off the map I'm told. It definitely appears that way on here. Been busking everyday, worn out, resume the mission tomorrow.

Happy New Year!
We played 2 shows last night. The first show was at The Oak Street Bistro. Our set was to be 7:00-9:00 and to be half instrumental piano/half Acoustic. They charged $45 a plate(new years special). And turned away at least 40 people who just wanted to order from the usual menu at the restaurant. We played well. Set went solid. Settled up and headed to our 2nd show of the night. Little did we know we were driving to the most awkward shady show we have EVER played, EVER!! We show up to a mid 40s very very country crowd of 25-30 people playing horse shoe type games. From the beginning we were told they didn't want to pay the full amount because we were late. I put them in check and said we would play longer so they were happy. After 7 or 8 songs we are stopped and told that I was to drunk and Ben was messed up on something. Complete bullshit. We left pissed with, of course, only half the money they promised. We grubbed out on the food Oak Street Bistro gave us in the RV and called it a night.
